MATÍZ (formerly Sotano Studio) was created in 2005 in Barcelona.

The Founder
Fanny Le Bonniec graduated from the University of Technology of Compiègne, an engineering French school focused on design and further explored the design history, studying a Master Degree at the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan.
After several rich life and professional experiences in France, South Korea, Italy and Spain, she co-founded Sotano Studio with Oscar Del Cerro in 2005.
In 2019, she decided to focus 100% on packaging design and changed the agency name to MATÍZ. Becoming increasingly environmentally conscious, her dream is to design the zero waste perfect packaging that will be both beautiful and sustainable.
